gwen question
I'm sort of new to gw,
not so new that I don't know what I'm doing, but I started playing prophecies a few months ago, I'm almost done with it now. I just bought eye of the north, installed it, and after installation it auto started gw. I logged in, and nothing has changed. do you have to beat prophecies to access gwen, or did I install wrong? also, it never asked for the access key. EDIT: thanks guys Last edited by Darth Stolas; Apr 21, 2008 at 04:10 AM // 04:10.. |

when you log in at the character select screen you have an option to edit account. from there check manage access keys then next then you should have an option to add key. That's where you need to go to have eotn added to your account.

When you log in to GW, you should see a link that says "Create Account/Add Access key". Click on that, make sure to select "add access key". Enter your log in details and type in the code. It'll ask you to confirm this, go ahead and say yes.
Once you add the key to your account, you can log in to the game, go to Lion's Arch. There will be a quest called "What Lies Beneath" available from an NPC named Len Calderoon (or something like that). Do that quest and you'll be able to go to Eye of the North and play there. And for future reference, all those CDs do is install the client you already have on your computer. Once you install the game once you don't need to do it again. EDIT: Psyker, you ninjaing beotch |

I'm not sure if this is related to what your asking, so my apologies if it isn't, but unlike Nightfall and Factions, you can't start in Eye of the North. You have to beat a quest (there's a different one for each "continent") in order to access EOTN. Again sorry if that isn't what you were looking for.

From Prophecies, you need to be level 10 or above, then you can obtain the quest "What Lies Beneath" from Len Caldoron in Lion's Arch.
After you've added those access keys, of course
